Mrs Brown did not notice him doing this. If she had, she would have made him put them back because you were not allowed to get any sports equipment out of the classroomclassroom until you had finishedfinished your lunch.


When the bell went to signalsignal it was time to play, the sports box was empty.empty. No one dared to complain about John because they knew what would happenhappen next.
